Confirmed from Day Creek Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Decent park to take my toddler to. We played at the playground for about an hour and we had a really good time. There's a smaller playground structure for smaller kids, and a much larger one for older kids. There are two separate swings, one for toddler and the other for older kids and adults.

A good walking loop, about .4 miles for each loop. I like that the fields are up high and it’s pretty flat. The playground is neat and kids would totally love it. There’s a parking lot but like lots of parks in Rancho, it’s next to a school so lots of parents park in the playground lot to drop off their kids.

★★★★★ — Christina , Jan 2022

A small park with a nice children’s playground and a dog path/joggers track (0.6km). The place is safe and clean. There are slides, swings, sand pit, a couple of cabanas …

★★★★☆ — Juzar , Aug 2022

Great tennis courts (now with LED lights, best lighted courts in town), good playground, and lots of open space to run with the dog.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
