Confirmed from North Etiwanda Preserve's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Relaxed hiking trails in a rugged landscape with waterfalls, streams and a variety of wildlife.

I liked this trail. There are clear signs to take you on the 3.22 mile hike. There are also signs along the way that will take you to rest stops. One of my favorite areas was something I don't know what else to call besides a "balcony deck". It's near the 2 mile marker and had a nice view of everything around you.
I have been wanting to get back into hiking and getting active. After reading up on this place, this seemed like a good place to start. I got there around 9am on a Wednesday morning. Parking was readily available and not the nightmare I read about. Followed the steadily-inclining trail and enjoyed he great views.
Went on an early clowdy morning. Little to no tree coverage for most of the trail. Small incline. I took my regular shoes and was just fine. The trail is easy, but if the sun is out and blazing you might feel otherwise.
Fun and challenging 3 mile hike. Went with my bf and some friends at 7 am on Sunday, we finished by 9 am. There were plenty of people walking around and a few places with shade on the way up to the water. The majority of the hike has a ton of rocks, so wearing good shoes is a must.
Trail conditions & character
“I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 because parking is limited and if we would have shown up maybe an hour later, we wouldn't have found parking.”
“It's a moderate hike with an incline towards the waterfall, also rocky in some areas so be sure to have comfortable footwear and also water.”
“There is definitely some elevation to consider when hiking this, and the pebbles can be hard on your ankles and feet depending on how used to the terrain a person is.”
“Only complaint is there are many ppl bringing their dogs when it clearly has signs saying theyre not allowed.”
