Confirmed from Deer Canyon Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Located in the Anaheim Hills, this wilderness area offers trails for hiking & horseback riding.
What runners say about Deer Canyon Park
“It’s so scenic and well kept here.”
“Firs time there I rode from Serrano down to Deer Canyon it was breath taking Very Beautiful.”
Nice peaceful place to hike. Please be respectful and mindful of mother nature. There are coyotes and mountain lions but keep in mind they are home and we are just visitors.
The fact this is walking distance from my house is the best feature. The canyon seems like a world apart from from the city surrounding it. But trails could be a little nicer and there is parts that are paved.
You can have a nice hiking in the middle of pure original nature just few yards behind the houses. You may find squirrels and rabbits. . A couple of time I saw a lazy coyote. ..looking at me in the middle of his path and disappearing in a while
Nice walking trail through a valley and up to the reservoir. Can be as long as 10 miles
