Confirmed from Del Mar Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Cute little park with character. Very peaceful with a water feature, nestled up against some hills (private land) teaming with wildlife... we were there for an outdoor meeting with a fellowship of like minded people trying to continue on a path of self improvement while extending a hand to those searching for more…

Morro Bay’s Del Mar Park is marvelous! Beautiful Cypress have been trimmed to provide a green canopy of shade. Each charming picnic area has its own special place. The charming paths are paved.

Walk there at least twice a week to enjoy the beauty of the park. Very well maintained and wonderful photo opportunities. Very nice dog park and children's play area. Great place for quiet picnic.

★★★★★ — Sandy , Jul 2021

Great space for a family day at the park. Plenty of picnic tables, water nearby. The bathrooms were nearby as well and clean but not very many of them. The kids loved the play structure- slides, climbing and a crow's nest to look out at the whole play ground. It was all well maintained.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🐕 Dog-friendly 15 mentions

“There is also a dog park there as well, so make sure your children know about dog safety.”
