Confirmed from Del Valle Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

The Boys of Del Valle Park by Dennis Lander, Vietnam Veteran We climbed aboard that huge winged rocket, And rode it to the sky. Our minds would soar for hours and hours, We’re never gonna die. With pitch and yaw, dives and rolls, We’d blast bad guys to heaven. We’d crash and burn and walk away, Heck, we’re only seven.

This park is great for kids to get their wiggles out! They have so many neat things to climb! The choices are endless. My son is 4 and had no problem getting around, although the recommended age for this playground is 5-12. This is our second time here and he is having a blast.

Beautiful park to walk, ride, sit, jog, lay in the grass and be lazy and learn a little history while you're at it. The Vietnam War Memorial is something to see and worth the trip.

★★★★★ — Tim , Oct 2022

Great for some relaxing time with friends, family, pets, etc. people were nice and the the whole park is well maintained. There were some really muddy areas with a foul smell but other than that it’s my go to for a quick walk.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🚻 Restrooms 3 mentions

“Lots of parking is available and the bathrooms are located right next to the play area.”
