Confirmed from Delacorte Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Delacorte Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (52 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 4 mentions

“Clean and peaceful place to get a view of nature”

🌳 shaded & cool 3 mentions

“Lots of trees around make for shade on a hot Florida day.”

Delacorte Park is the area surrounding the North Palm Beach Village Community Center along Prosperity Farms Road south of PGA Blvd. I entered from the north side and there, I saw the basketball courts and around back, the playground. On the south side of the community center are the pickleball courts.

The NPB community center has a small park, basketball courts, a baseball field, soccer fields, volleyball courts and a walking trail. There's a parakeet sanctuary in the back. Bathrooms and water fountains are open to the public. The reason I rated 4 *'s is bc it needs more shelter from the sun.

This is a great park for young kids. We brought two toddlers here after the reopening of the parks this year and had a great time. They have nice walking trails and a dog park. Their equipment is clean and pretty new.

★★★★★ — Dennis , Jul 2022

Lots of shade in the back of the park. Quiet overall and pleasant. A gymnasium, outside hoops, ballfields, batting cage, walking track, etc.. But, as with all parks, it's mostly what one makes of it.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
