Confirmed from Densmore Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Densmore Park
“The park, fields, bleachers and facilities are clean and well maintained.”
“Beautiful park, used to walk by to play Pokemon GO, often walk our dogs through here.”
This is a very nice park. It has a lot to do for smaller kids. It is a very popular place. There are restrooms there by the playground. Also, there are port of potties their. Walking trails that go over to the Jamican North trail.
We visit Densmore baseball park a lot for my son's baseball tournaments. We usually use fields 3 or 4. The park, fields, bleachers and facilities are clean and well maintained. The presence of a concession stand is a blessing as we always get something to cool us down during the games!
Easy parking, trail access to Wilderness Park, Rock Island and Jamaica North. Open green space, playground equipment, shelter with tables, tennis & pickle ball courts and restrooms with water fountain.
This area of the town is very lovely. I hope they don’t turn it into apartments or homes at some point. Amazing place for a nature walk early in the morning or during the sunsets.
