Confirmed from Tierra Williamsburg Hiking - Biking Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Tierra Williamsburg Hiking - Biking Trail
“A beautiful walking trail!”
Definitely the most consistently pretty, safe and interesting section of the bike trail system that I found so far here in Lincoln, especially the vast majority that is in the residential neighborhood (with actually has really beautiful houses), and I was surprised to pass by the creative pond/lake/park area, which…
I parked over by Target on 40th and Yankee Hill. It was only like 3 blocks to the trail. I did 8.47 miles out and back. Took me 2 hrs 25 mins. Very nice wide paved trail. I took it from where it starts or ends to the Rock Island Trail.
I could be biased when it comes to outdoor reviews. But Lincoln does have great biking trails.

The practical stuff
- AccessHours vary — hours are not posted for this trail, so check before an early or late run
- SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
