Confirmed from Depot Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

This park was beautiful and had something for everyone to enjoy! The playground was so unique and very well maintained. The play structures were creative, colorful, and offered the ability to climb and play with curiosity. There is also a small splash area to cool off on the hot days.

This is a fabulous park. There’s ample parking, a beautiful kids playground, a nice central pond with fountain, a cordoned off area that’s shallow, calmer water, where there is wildlife, including alligators, numerous turtles, crane. The park is one of the best I’ve ever been to.

Great Spot to Chill in Gainesville Depot Park is one of the best places to hang out in downtown Gainesville. It’s super clean with great views and a relaxing vibe. Whether you're into walking, cycling, or just sitting under a tree, it’s perfect. Lots of open space, a fun playground for kids, and even a splash pad.

★★★★★ — Aman , Jun 2025

The splash pad is inside the playground area and they are literally connected to each other. So if you are bringing your child to the playground and you did not want them to get wet at the splash pad, just know that they could walk right into the splash pad.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
