Confirmed from Dequindre Cut Greenway (South End)'s own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
2-mile public greenway along a former railroad, with paved walking & cycling paths & urban artwork.

Fabulous two mile-long walking / biking trail that stretches just north of the Eastern Market all the way down to the Riverfront Park. Various different entrances / exits through out the path. Amazing artwork along the pathway, usually in the form of graffiti-style murals.
The Dequindre Cut Greenway is a "rails to trails" project that has been a huge success. A former freight train spur it runs from the riverfront to eastern market and beyond. Walking, biking, eating, skating, doggies, kids, wheelchairs whatever. Come to the "cut" and hang out.
Love it here! So nice to walk, rides bike's/scooters, or just relax, and you don't have to worry about cars because they're not allowed. Great graffiti work also, which I love to check out 😀.
From the water front to Mack Av this path is amazing. Wide lanes for your bike ride and walks with many benches to relax. Eastern Mkt along the way which is fabulous in its self because Eastern Mkt such a fun place to visit. Very clean path way with local art along the way.
