Confirmed from Gabriel Richard Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park featuring a riverfront walk and picnic tables, plus a public restroom.

Spent good time there! Wish they had bigger flower garden. There were couple benches to sit and watch the beautiful blue waves! Nice for walking. There is a big field without tables that can work for family/friends gather and barbecue/picnics! Oh and lets not forget, you can walk/jog/ride your bike there!
If you want to take a scenic nature walk, but not be “in the woods,” this is the place to go. The Detroit Riverwalk goes right through this park, and there are fabulous wildflowers on the winding nature path, with benches (& possibly a water fountain, but don’t quote me on that) along the way in case you need a brief…
Beautiful segment of the Detroit Riverfront east of the MacArthur bridge to Belle Isle. There is a small parking lot in the NE corner accessible from Jefferson. Great place to walk my dog. There are some tables and chairs at the pavilion, as well as restrooms.
It's wonderful to share my experience at the park near the island. The expansive green areas offer a fantastic place for various activities and relaxation. With its scenic beauty, the park provides a peaceful escape from the city's hustle and bustle.
