Confirmed from DeSanctis Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park featuring open space and a playground, plus trails and picnic tables.
What runners say about DeSanctis Park
“Good place if you want walk our dog for 40 minutes.”
Great place to walk and clear your head. Pet friendly, on a leash. Nice play ground and great scenery.
Nice walking paths, several loops. We walked out dogs there regularly. Fairly open so often a breeze. Nice in summer less so in winter. Paring is on the street but we have not had problems.
A great little park! Easy trails for walking/running. Nice playground for the kids. Sweet historic building with spacious deck. Surrounded by native wildflowers.
Nice spot for a short dog walk. They have doggie poop bags available, and lots of garbages so you don't need to carry your baggie for long. A well-groomed park.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadparking — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
- Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
