Confirmed from Whitetail Ridge Mountain Bike Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Whitetail Ridge Mountain Bike Trail

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (230 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 5 mentions

“The trail builders keep it well maintained and are always adding new trails and features.”

Fun trails with a good mix of difficulties. There is a Bigger jump line on top of the hill by the corn fields. Fun little skills park near the trailhead to practice jumps, rocks, drops, and skinnies. Trial is maintained well, but could use some extra signage at intersections.

★★★★☆ — Matthew , Jul 2021

I'm fortunate to have Whitetail Ridge as my local trail. I've been riding it for years and it just keeps getting better! The trail builders keep it well maintained and are always adding new trails and features. Be sure to hit the skills course off the main trailhead!

★★★★★ — Neil , Jun 2019

This is a great trail that offers features for every skill level. The descends are worth every climb and at the bottom, very near the end of the course, you can refuel at Rush River Brewing Company.

★★★★★ — Aaron , Jul 2024

Very well maintained trails. Unique jumps, and bridges. Variety of skill levels. Fun for all!

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

⛰️ Hills / elevation 7 mentions

“If you see a little gap jump on the trail it's best to scope it out first, I'm pretty sure kids made a bunch of them because they're super short and super steep launch angle.”
