Confirmed from Kinnickinnic River Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Relaxed, scenic outdoors recreational area featuring hiking trails (some steep, good for sledding) and fishing.
What runners say about Kinnickinnic River Trail
“Love this trail, very quiet, river is beautiful any time of the year and people are very friendly”
“It's So peaceful there that it's made me fall in love with the outdoors and what mother nature and a little history you can find it on the Kinnikinnick River trail.”
Beautiful trails along the rivers that go by a dam and an old kiln, I highly recommend.
The tedious hike down the river was SO WORTH IT. The falls were gorgeous and we dipped our feet in. Lovely!
We might be grown men, but that didn't stop me and some friends from taking advantage of the steep trails to do a bit of sledding/ boarding after our most recent snow fall! Lots of nice wide cut trails surrounded by beautiful scenery along the Kinnickinnic River.
Perfect trails even for the winter. Beautiful scenery. Beautiful River. Very clean and relaxed. Very Serene. I plan on walking the trails everyday. Bluffs and mountain like hills. I definitely recommend this trail for cross country skiing and snow shoes. Places to camp and fish.
