We hiked from Platte Cove to Rt214 which is considered halfway. Trail was extremely beautiful and absolutely brutal. It's steep!! Doesn't matter if it's going up or down. Everything is steep with tonn of roots and slabs of boulders. Walking poles are kinda must. Wish to attempt it again and finish it this time.
The Devil's Path trail here is a gorgeous route up to Indian Head, Twin, Sugarloaf Mountain, and others. The trail is mostly very moderate in difficulty with some brief more challenging sections. The view from Twin especially (both twin views I should say) is spectacular.
Amazing hike, downpoured the entire time but my crew and I still had a great time. Most beautiful sights I have ever seen. This trail is truly a once in a lifetime experience
