Confirmed from Devil's Spur Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Trail featuring wildflowers and views, great for hiking and snowshoeing.
What runners say about Devil's Spur Trailhead
“Beautiful 180 degree view of Wenatchee and the Columbia River valley.”
“But it was pretty quiet when we went, pretty views and some wildlife.”
Very pretty hike! The first 20 minutes were on a wide rocky path, the last 30-40 minutes are on a narrow trail in woods which changes to a narrow path on scree combined with sand. If not very sure footed or the weather isn't ideal consider runners or hikers.
It was a nice trail. Even though the sky was hazy with smoke, we weren't physically affected by it. We didnt get the views we potentially could have but there was still impressive sights. There was some erosion part of the trail.
Great place to take a hike. I was there in December and there was about 1 foot of snow on the ground. It wasnt too cold and the hike really warms you up. It has some very beautiful views.
Really enjoy this trail because it's a continuous uphill that isn't too steep. It's pretty Rocky so you have to watch your step but it's partially shaded by trees and well used

The practical stuff
- AccessOpen 24 hours — no gate to beat, so a 5am or a 10pm run both work
- SurfaceNatural surface — easiest on the joints and the most fun, but expect roots, rocks and mud after rain
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
