Confirmed from Dick Blake Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Dick Blake Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (252 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 10 mentions

“Nice well maintained park that includes walking trails, field, picnic area, and playground.”

🌳 shaded & cool 3 mentions

“Beautiful park, my favorite part is the small trails in between the trees, most parks around here are paved without much shade so it's nice to be in a wooded area.”

🌾 quiet & peaceful 3 mentions

“Very well maintained, clean and always a pleasant and peaceful place to enjoy nature.”

Nice and clean. Both sports fields appear to be well-kept and equally clean. I like how the paved paths veer off into natural ones, but there's nothing outstanding at the end. It's just nice if you like to wander through nature. A few people had their dogs, but I didn't see any poop stations.

★★★★★ — Aaron , Mar 2024

Soccer fields and skate park for older kids and adults and a nice playground for little kids. There is a pavilion for picnics and a nice trail for walking. My son really enjoyed some of the little little touches like a cool pirate style spyglass at the top of the playground.

★★★★★ — Dustin , Dec 2023

Generally clean. Since there is a trail in the woods, behind the fields and playground, a less desirable park patron may come and go. I like the park for soccer and my kids enjoy the skate ramps, but my teen will never be allowed here alone, for their safety

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
