Confirmed from Dick Kleberg Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Dick Kleberg Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (613 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 5 mentions

“Park looked to be well maintained and was pretty big.”

🏞️ beautiful scenery 3 mentions

“Beautiful view from the pier.”

Nice sports park. Its surprisingly large with a number of fields available. Including a pavilion and other open space. At first it looks like a usual sports park but if you take the path towards the river it opens up to a nice nature park.

I remember coming to this place as a kid and the playground equipment showed a lot of wear and tear but, it's been fixed in recent years. The lion has a new coat of paint and the equipment is mostly new and safe. The park itself is mostly clean and taken care of.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🏞️ Scenic views 5 mentions

“With different views of the river, a pollinator garden, and board walk over the water.”
