Confirmed from Anderson Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Nice park Lots of kids activity centers swings slides. Area to play music. Wagon. Pi noc tables amd large covered area for parties. Plenty of parking. Has 2 baseball fields. Volley ball and basketball court. Walking trails. People need to pock up their dogs poop.

★★★★★ — Ruby , Mar 2025

Beautiful place excellent for all ages, especially for children... And perfect for walk around and make exercises.

★★★★★ — Hanlys , May 2019

So many things to do. And such a friendly environment. The trail is a good source of cardio and the playgrounds are great for kids. There's a golf course, volleyball net, and a baseball field. If you want to have a celebration, there is a pavilion with sitting areas. There's lots to do.

★★★★★ — Awakened , Aug 2021

The kids like coming here. They have one of the play areas blocked off...probably to fix/update it. They have added a few things, which is great! The volleyball net definitely needs to be replaced but there is a great track to walk/run on. A pavilion with tables is available for anyone to use.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

💡 Lit for night running 3 mentions

“I wonder why they do not keep the lights on to the pavillion?”

The practical stuff

  • AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
  • DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
  • ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
  • LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
