Confirmed from Dike East Walking Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

I don't really like dogs much.... But dogs like this park. I walk past it a lot. Google said I should review it... So here I am, reviewing this park.

Stopped in Fargo on a cross country trip. This was the park I brought my pup to. There was a meet up of about 10 other dogs that happened to be there too. Everyone was super friendly and the dogs were all well behaved and had fun running around.

★★★★★ — Robert , Jul 2017

The Dike East Dog Park is great! It consists of two separate fenced in area with lots of room for your puppers to run free. One area is for big puppers, the other is for ankle-bitter-puppers. Both areas have shade trees and picnic tables.

This walking path connects with the next park south. Then you can even go across the walking bridge to gooseberry in MN. Very neat and clean area.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🐕 Dog-friendly 33 mentions

“It's is physical a very nice dog park, but, being this close to the river, there's no water services.”
