Confirmed from Doar Prairie Savana's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Doar Prairie Savana
“One reason I love this park is how quiet and rural it feels, despite being just outside town and surrounded by houses on a couple sides.”
Nice paved trails through a prairie, up high with a view over the town. Usually a quiet place to walk.
I like taking my kiddo here for walks. There are little info stands about local plants and animals scattered around and big stone slabs for sitting or climbing on. Fully paved paths and just a fun place to take a quick walk.
This is one of my favorite local parks. It is small and has natural prairie flowers and grass, and paved walking paths. There also is now a walking path that starts at Nature Center Park and goes all the way to the Doar Prairie Savana.
Well maintained trails, savanna, and a view of the city. Great for walks and dogs.
