This is an absolutely beautiful place to come to. It has a large loop trail that goes all around the reservoir and when you start walking up you can see a beautiful view from the top of the mountain.
Beautiful hike with gorgeous views. Tons of nature. Well maintained paths. There is a flat trail along the reservoir or the hike to the peak with hills. Either option is a great choice for a nice day.
One of the most beautiful parks in Connecticut with a nearly 4.5 mile hike that takes you up Mt. Lamentation and its peak, Chauncey Peak, which provide great views of Hartford, Middlesex, and New Haven counties. The hike also takes you around a beautiful lake. Moderately challenging hike with spectacular views.
This is a very nice trail to hike. It loops around the Bradley Hubbard Reservoir and offers great scenic views. The reservoir area is good for pictures on a gorgeous day. The trail is rocky at some spots, so make sure you have proper footwear for safety.
