Fascinating, moving, magical. My daughter wanted to visit the trail because she had read about it online. I expected it to be a little creepy and funky. I did not expect to be moved by the trail's message. If you go with an open mind, the installations throughout the trail are meaningful and thought provoking.
Cool trail in Atlanta. Parking was right off the trail and a port a potty close by for emergencies. We started on a paved trail which then went to a dirt one. It took us a while to see the dolls and other treasures but we made it. There were some signs guiding us along the way.
Edit: I recently went back to Dolls Head and I got some more pics and videos! I have been to this trail a few times now and each time I enjoy it a little more. The boardwalk is the highlight here. Walking through with the lake and trees all around you is amazing.
Walking the Doll Head Trail was such an unusual experience! It had some creative and interesting pieces to see along the path. It’s a peaceful walk but also fun and thought- provoking, making it perfect for a relaxing outing while enjoying art in nature. The trail was easy to follow with good signage along the way.
