Awesome park free parking! When you come down the wooden bridge thing if you turn right... beware its a 2 hour walk bur don't stress it loops and goes full circle my smart watch said it's like 7 miles.
Gorgeous location for sunset photography and general viewing pleasure. Miles and miles of stunning panoramic views of the bay, baylands, mountains, and skyline (extraordinarily awesome and inspiring at sunset.) This is a very open area, with sea breezes, and moving waves.
What a beautiful place to hike. Please be aware that there are not any shades, it might get hot in summer
Beautiful, accessible, uncrowded. Lots of sea and shore birds at the right times—cormorants, great egrets, snowy egrets, sandpipers, shovelers and other ducks (and many I don’t know). Lovely flowers at all times of the year, but especially in the spring.
