These trails are a part of the San Bernard NWR, around a 2.5 mile loop with half gravel and the other a concrete path. Easily accessible for anyone including children or handicap, and were dry even after a recent rain. Trail meanders on higher ground along the bayou through a hardwoods-palmetto ecosystem.

we love this secluded nature trail! we had the trail all to ourselves, so parking was great. some trails are gravel, some are completely paved. Look out for posion ivy because there is some, but otherwise this is a great spot we frequent to hear the birds sing, see the deer walk, & enjoy the nature!
This is a nice walking / jogging trail. The parking lot was a really good size for the trail size. The trail that loops north of the entrance is paved. The trail south of the entrance looked like it was dirt / gravel. I only walked the north trail. It's nicely forested with benches and some picnic areas.
