Confirmed from Doyle Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Doyle Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (454 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 7 mentions

“Pool is always clean and and it's right by all the Jungle gyms and stuff in the park.”

👟 good for all levels 3 mentions

“They have a swimming pool as well as a large playground with many different types of play for all ages.”

Great place to go with your family and/or read a book next to the river. There is a swimming pool during the summer to enjoy… Any extensively long walking trail that you can catch from this park.

Great for all ages! We go fishing there often, we catch fish practically every time! My son loves the playground! Excellent for walking, fishing, playing, swimming or just to enjoy the great outdoors!

★★★★★ — Tamara , Jul 2020

Looks like a very nice outdoor pool with a slide for kids. We didn't have a chance to try it out as it was raining. Great bandshell for concerts. Very nice flush restrooms. Gave the park a 4 instead of a 5, bcz dogs aren't allowed. We were from out of town & came to Cheesefest.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🚻 Restrooms 3 mentions

“The only drawback was the bathrooms closest to us were unusable/locked.”

The practical stuff

  • AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
  • SurfaceMixed — more than one surface along the route, so check the segment you plan to run
  • DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
  • ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
  • At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
  • Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
