Confirmed from Island Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park with a trail along a river that's suitable for biking and walking.

“I haven't been there in 10 years and the work they did to the park is beautiful.”
Super nice place to go fishing, on some areas! In the summer time the damn closes and expoese the rocks. It allows you to walk almost across it! It smells like garbage thow, highly recommended wearing shoes or something yo cover your feet! Try not to touch the water.
I stayed at the hotel nearby and really enjoyed having this park within walking distance. Visited this park 3 times in 2 days to check up on the goslings The park is an island built around a lock and dam so there are some interesting engineering sights here.
It is a very nice trail. I wanted a place to walk and my daughter took me with her to the trail to Island Park .I really enjoyed it.it was a beautiful day so had to Spend it outside. The trees were really pretty that day. We took a lot of Amazing pictures together. If you get a chance, take a walk or bike on this trail.
Nice quiet park with paved walking trails and plenty of spots to go fishing and benches to sit and bird watch

- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
