Confirmed from Dracena Quarry Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

An amazing experience! Beautiful. A walk that will tire you out, but you'll see beautiful flowers and foilage before you pass out! Seriously, take the nature walk. You won't regret it.

A nice spread of park! It has a short walk through redwood trees that was peaceful and if you start at the top there, you can walk down the path to the main park where there is a big open grassy field and a playground. Lots of benches but I wish there were a few more tables to have lunch on.

a review from @amom2kidsandapark A nice park nestled in the hills of Piedmont with giant trees, tall bridges, plenty of green grass, a tree stump picnic table and a unique playground. The play area has swings, a structure, plenty of sand, a climbing wall and a wide cement slide in the center.

This park is in a nicer part of Oakland. Onsite street parking is free. I felt safe. It's a very nice small redwood grove with a couple walking paths. You can find a book or bench and feel miles away without having the travel or hike a long distance.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
