Confirmed from Dragonfly Landing's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Parks with playgrounds, splash pads and picnic tables.
What runners say about Dragonfly Landing
“Splash pad is good for all ages, playset good for 4-5 and up.”
Peaceful place to come for a walk or sit at one of the benches or picnic tables and watch the wildlife. There’s also a splash park (not this year due to the closures), playground, grassy area for playing or picnic-ing, and one of those “take a book leave a book” little libraries.
Great place to cool off for children! Located off rt 53 & Ogden in Lisle. The water is cold! My grandchild did not want to go home! Playground is nice and the walk around the pond is beautiful
Very nice walking path area with park and water fountains for morning, afternoon or sunset walks. Love the Lily Pads, Monarch Butterflies, Dragonflies, Ducks. The blackbirds can exhibit aggressive/territorial flying behavior at times. They seem to stop once they get used to people walking the area.
One of the best splashpads around with playground next to it. No swings. 2 Big water fountains/Nice nature walk trail. Big slides. Bring big towel so kids can use to slide down when hot outside.
Trail conditions & character
“Unless getting to the splash pad early the parking gets filled up quickly in the side lot across from the park entrance.”
“Very nice walking path area with park and water fountains for morning, afternoon or sunset walks.”
