Confirmed from PrairieWalk Pond's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Relaxed green space with a pond, play areas and a splash pad.
What runners say about PrairieWalk Pond
“Beautiful little path with some benches and a nice park for kids, which has sprinkling water in summers!”
“There's a lot of wildlife in and around the pond and it's a nice serene place to spend a little bit of time.”
Peaceful place to come for a walk or sit at one of the benches or picnic tables and watch the wildlife. There’s also a splash park (not this year due to the closures), playground, grassy area for playing or picnic-ing, and one of those “take a book leave a book” little libraries.
I love walking my dogs here. It's nicely lit in the evening and I feel safe even at night. My nieces and nephews enjoy the park and splash pad which is very popular in the summer.
Delightful little park and fun for the kiddos. Much wildlife to see and explore. There is a Splash pad which is great for the little ones, also with a small park. Need a quick walk during your lunch? No problem, very easy, good seating around to stop and enjoy the water views.
Pretty little park, with a nice little path around the pond, a really cool play area, and nice gazebo. There are a number of benches to sit and observe the wildlife that can visit the pond.
