Confirmed from Dry Canyon Park & Trail System's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Paved and dirt trails of varying lengths for jogging and mountain biking, plus picnic spots and a park for kids.
What runners say about Dry Canyon Park & Trail System
“nice trail walked the dog i wish people ewould clean up after there animals we do.”
The dry canyon is has one of the best trails in Redmond, the paved path is very smooth and clean, great for skating or cycling and the dirt single track that weaves along the east and west side from north to south is fantastic especially for trail running and Mt.
The trails are great! You have a variety of single tracks, two tracks, and paved trails to walk, hike, run, mountain bike, or horseback ride on. All of the trails are easily accessible and the city has done a great job improving the system with maps and signs. One of the best attractions in Redmond.
Super pretty trail, even a runner can hang out with mountain bikers and not be in the way. There are so many cool bike paths too! If you are into working out with stairs.... there is a massive group of stairs too! Haha
Great place right in town. Enjoyed a morning walk along the canyon wall. There is a nice paved trail but I like to walk the dirt trails along the canyon wall.

Plan your run at Dry Canyon Park & Trail System
The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfaceMixed — more than one surface along the route, so check the segment you plan to run
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
- Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
