Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

🏞️ beautiful scenery 12 mentions

“The area around the parking area is beautiful but if you really want a view hike towards the freeway and under the overpass all the way down to the falls.”

🌾 quiet & peaceful 4 mentions

“Downstream is towards the falls and upstream is just a nice peaceful walk with nothing in the world bothering you.”

👟 good for all levels 2 mentions

“We took the hike to Cline Falls, which is mostly an easy hike just more than a half mile, with a bit of uneven terrain.”

The area around the parking area is beautiful but if you really want a view hike towards the freeway and under the overpass all the way down to the falls. The view is breathtakingly beautiful. Keeping hiking for several miles to get to several other falls. to see them and get back is an all day trek.

This park is a great place for families to enjoy the river, with smooth waters that are not deep. We took the hike to Cline Falls, which is mostly an easy hike just more than a half mile, with a bit of uneven terrain.

We took our 5 and 7 year old on this easy flat dirt trail hike. Parked in the main lot. Followed the road part way back up to the sign marking the trail. The trail goes along the river under the road overpass. Just over half mile each way. We could hear the falls before we could see them. Gorgeous view.

Cline Falls is a great park. Lots of grass, and tons of river front picnic spots. Fishing here is ok, nothing huge that I saw. Walk just 1/4 mile downstream of the park, under the highway bridge, to Cline Falls. Super cool! Just be careful near the edge!

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
