Confirmed from Duncan Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

This Playground has quite a bit of things for the kids to play on. Basketball hoops, soccer field, bathrooms and bike loop path around the park. Overall the park has everything the kids need to be adventurous. A lot of shade and pretty trees around Duncan Park.

We enjoy going to this park, they have a lot of space for the kids to run around. You can take your dogs, I believe off leash during summer hours and it seems there is constantly activity here. They offer both a big playground and a toddler playground, basketball courts and restrooms with drinking fountains...

Take my dogs here all the time, this park has a small-town feel and is well mantained. You will find friends and family celebrating birthdays, having bbq, playing on the playground, and well-behaved dogs running around playing fetch. There is no fence around the park so i do keep my dogs on a leash. Great atmosphere.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

  • ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
  • At the trailheadrestrooms, water — reported by runners
  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
