Confirmed from John Meade Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about John Meade Park
“There are a lot of geese at the park and a lot of geese poop but the park is still very clean.”
“Wonderful little pond, bridal path access, surrounded by beautiful homes.”
“This is a perfect get away for the kids so pack up plenty of liquids and bring some snacks or a lunch 😋 Don't forget the sunscreen 🌞 there is minimal shaded areas.”
Im so elated to have found this tranquil community park. So cozy and peaceful as I sit here on a memorial bench and reflect. 😔 The park resides with City Hall, Police and Fire Stations. 🚉 I like the cute little horse arena for horse riding. 🐎 There are many trails 👣 with wild life and a beautiful play area.for all.
I love this little park. The arena is alway well maintained. Plenty of shade to take a break from our horse back riding. Clean bathrooms!
Part of park is fenced off, so trail thru it is inaccessible. Cherry Hills Village Policeman said its it's already been drained but a huge pond is still visible behind fence. Barn has sign that says it's not in use. Why? Otherwise, a nice park in an uppity neighborhood.
A great park and walk around and enjoy Colorado. The playground is a larger playground so more for 3 and older to play on. There are a lot of geese at the park and a lot of geese poop but the park is still very clean. The bathrooms are well kept and have a baby changing table in them.
