Very cool loop trail, made more difficult because some bridging is gone but it is still doable as long as you are ready to climb up steep loose sand ☆ I came here on a Shasta College Class trip in March 2025 and it was so cool to see everything here.
The various dune trails are amazing, great variety of environments... frogs in little ponds, strawberries along the fields, sand dunes and beautiful beaches. Some trails allow horses and dogs, some are exclusively walking. Sled down the dunes, watch birds...one of favorite places for picnic.
