Confirmed from Dunton Locks County Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Scenic park offering paved and unpaved paths for biking and hiking and also featuring a boat lift.
What runners say about Dunton Locks County Park
“Beautiful park with two picnic shelters, restrooms, a lake, lots of trails for hiking and biking, and a giant sized troll.”
This is a wonderful time of year for visiting Dunton Locks! The weather was perfect and the scenery was awesome! There were a few people fishing.. hiking and out doing photography. I urge people to visit this County Park any time of year!
I love this park, my puppy Jack love it and it was our favored spot to go walk and watch him fishing and swimming. I love going there to remembering times we shared together. It have nice walking trails, lakes that connect with each other, a river , lots of nature and a trol, siting benches and biking path.
This is a really nice park. Though quite busy on the weekend. Thankfully there is an overflow parking area to the side which is right at the lake and has a nice walking path through the woods that leads to a small waterfall. Very pretty. And it you're lucky you may meet a troll in the woods.
Wonderful park. Dog friendly. Very accessible trails and parking. Lots of picnic tables! Looks like they're building more pavilions and upgrading facilities. Gorgeous view of the lake! We were there to see the Thomas Dambo Troll!!
