The full hike is approaching 10 miles. Excellent exercise with inclines and occasional shade to rest and water animals. Bring sunscreen!
oohkay...so we took the trail head next to dog park...turned left at meadow when we got to the split we went right...it is a loop, but we took a high trail off of where it rounds back...that trail has so much shale it is treacherous and it disappears due to all past rains.
O my this trail Dwarf Oak ,is to die for ,I mean just what I. M saying cool walking trails, its so ruged, gives you great work out, if u are looking for truly awesome work out this will give u that ,and some more ,come on and try it I dear you ,!! What u chicken out,ha ha .see you at the bottom
Loved the hike and the view. Heavy tick area at the top. It was a steep climb but very steep, more difficult going down. The rest was easy, walking the ridge and taking in the 360 view of Indian valley. Next time I'll come in from the O hair side.
