Novato Creek runs through this beautiful park. There's also a dog park attached to it with obstacle courses and water fountains. I take my dog Sadie through the trails and a dip in the creek, then she loves to show off her skills on all the platforms and bridges in the dog area.
Great place for a run. During the one month when the hills of Novato are actually green, stay left (when entering park) and take trail on left that heads up. EPIC views and just sooo darn pretty.
Great off-leash, fenced dog park. 🐶 Farther afield, some nice gentle hiking along the creek, friendly people with their dogs or horses. Lots of poison oak to look out for along the trail edges.
Simple trail, great for dog walkers, bicyclists and equestrian. It leads over to dogbone meadow and is a great place to let the pooch run around. There's also a few spots in the creek to let the peppers cool off in the summer.
