Confirmed from Eagle Bluffs Overlook Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Eagle Bluffs Overlook Trailhead
“Hike up the hill, lots of steps, to the scenic top.”
“It is a relatively easy walk, though there is a stairway down the bluff to the Katy trail at the end, if you want to do that.”
This would be absolutely gorgeous in the fall!! Very nice trail. The trail head is to the left of the parking lot!!
Ok, start at trailhead about 75 feet south of the parking area. Follow pipeslines until you come to Katy trail. Approx 1 mile there w some rolling hills and it is a strenous walk. Once on katy trail its immediately to your left(south) . There are about 200 steps and very steep. Id caution.
Hike up the hill, lots of steps, to the scenic top. Nice overlook. Kind of rickety raised wooden walk that's a little shaky but a good side journey from biking. Worth the time if you don't have a deadline.
Nice drive around or go take the easy access hiking trail and enjoy the view. The eagles love to hang out by the creek.
