Confirmed from Eagle Lake Regional Park west's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

🌾 quiet & peaceful 4 mentions

“Nice, quite, peaceful, wild birds, jog, walk, biking and hiking trail.”

Love walking the trails. Really pretty in winter. I'll post another review in summer lol. I'm sure it's even better then.

This was a pretty park. Very small parking lot for about 3 cars after a short bumpy dirt road entrance. Follow the road after the parking lot to a dead end circle which leads to an elevated boardwalk between eagle lake and Pine Lake where you then follow a wide paved trail lined with birch trees.

Eagle Lake Regional Park is a wonderful escape from the city. A rustic gravel road with some potholes and slightly washed out edges leads to a gorgeous lake, fishing dock, walking bridge and raw nature. I felt like I was immediately transported to another place far from the city. Peaceful and beautiful.

Wonderful trails to get back to nature. Yesterday I saw a 6 or 8 point buck. Today I saw a small rabbit and birds. You can always hear the birds in the background wherever you go on the trails. Highly recommended.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
