Confirmed from Timber Shores Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Playground, baseball field and walking trails at an area designed like a tree.
What runners say about Timber Shores Park
“Some trails are paved, some are gravel, but all are well maintained.”
“This is a nice shaded park in Plymouth, heading into Bass Lake.”
“Playground equipment for all ages and scenic walking paths to the lake”
A very adequate neighborhood park. The boardwalk is lovely and there is a lot to see in a small space. Parking is weird with a bizarrely sized lot and goofy on street parking.
This is a nice shaded park in Plymouth, heading into Bass Lake. Wear bug spray, especially on damp days because, mosquitoes lol I saw swans, deers, rabbits, chipmunks etc. It is a nice, mostly shaded trail as well. I wish the trail was longer but it's a very pleasant mile-or-so walk around.
Take the kids to Timber shores. Walk the trails Paved paths, walking away from playground. Birds are calling or pecking for worms. Coming to the end of the path. Take a left and head towart Bass Lake. Fishing is good. There is a small pavilion and outhouse.
Overall thoughts: this is a new favorite park. The distance away from streets and parking lot allows the kids to explore without any concerns. Lots of shade! Awesome structures to play on. SWINGS? Two traditional, an accessible one and one for babies/toddlers PLAY STRUCTURE FOR BIG/LITTLE KIDS?
