Confirmed from Southbrook Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Southbrook Park
Such a great place to walk! It's a nice flat, paved path that goes in a circle through the wooded area with two access points. One on the north side and one on the south. They have a couple benches along the path. Beautiful all year long!
I used to run here sometimes and walk here sometimes. It’s got a paved loop, 1/3 of a mile around. Nothing fancy. There a porta pottie off the trail year round, mostly people walk this loop, sometimes with their dog(s) and there are a couple of benches along the path.
Easy loop for rehab - walking and walker friendly with midpoint benches to rest. Lovely wild plant. Easy dog walking. Great for starter outdoor walking to build strength.

The practical stuff
- AccessOpen 24 hours — no gate to beat, so a 5am or a 10pm run both work
- SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
