Confirmed from Eagle Walk Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Eagle Walk Trail
Now that the trail is officially open, it was amazing. Perfectly paved path all the way to Haig Mill Lake Park. There are benches along the way and it’s a great trail to adventure. I highly recommend anyone in the area try this trail. A++
Great option for walking, running, cycling, and even rollerblading. Benches along the way. Most of the circuit completely paved. Free parking.
We walk the trail often. Today we were caught in a sudden thunderstorm and got soaked.
Looking for a peaceful spot for a stroll? My pup Milly and I just had the best time exploring the Mill Line Trail (the newly updated area that used to be the Eagle Walk) in Dalton! 🐾 It was such a relaxing experience—the entire path is paved, flat, and super safe, which made it so easy to walk together.
