Confirmed from Haig Mill Lake Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Beautiful park with a 3.5 mile, nontechnical trail. The only negative is dogs are not allowed. Much of the trail is shaded and pretty comfortable hiking in the great of dinner.

Haig Mill Lake Park. A place for the entire family. A playground for kids of any age. Fishing for that fisherman in your family. For those trying to keep in shape there is a great walking/ hiking trail. Located in safe community.

★★★★★ — Cara , Mar 2022

This park helped me lose 70 pounds over the summer. Jogging here everyday never got old with the clean trail and great view. The park staff are friendly and always awnser my questions. The bathrooms are always clean and never have that funky park smell.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
