Beautiful view. 90-minute hike up from parking area between Tamarack Parking & Three Brothers Parking areas…doable in boots without ski/snowshoe gear in snow/winter as long as you stay on trail & within track of others' packed snow. Scenic views to East & North as you hike up. Great path to take dogs with you.
Nice hike up to an overlook. You are walking on a logging road most of the way.
East Moscow Mountain follows a logging road and takes 1.5 hours to complete. Because there is logging occurring here you get to see different forest types and ages which adds complexity to the hike. Good views from the road and summit! Moderate difficulty and a great place to bring friends and family.
How deceptive that something that looks like a hill, feels like a mountain when you ascend. Beautiful and peaceful with a sweeping 180 degree view at one of numerous lookouts. We Jeeped up, slowly with respect for other users. ❤️ Idaho!
