Confirmed from East Sammamish Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Neighborhood park that is the site of a baseball field and a playground.
What runners say about East Sammamish Park
“Well maintained park with 2 tennis courts, 3 baseball diamonds, a soccer/lacrosse field, playground and picnic shelter.”
Fun playground for kids, with tunnel slide, monkey bars, swings and multiple unique features to explore. Good for wide age range of kids. Nice short walking trail also.
Nice area. I stopped by to check the area out. Enough space to stretch your legs- but more of a sports/play area vs. a walk/walk your dog area.
Very good park, has a nice park and basketball court that gets redone every few months includes a trail out in the back to go to timberline with a bike trail, which is quite steep and steps to go down. Tennis court is fabulous and only around a mile from Blackwell Elementary
My 3yr old is having a blast. Lots to climb. 4 swings (2baby bucket) available. Small pathway to walk easily with a stroller. Room to play fetch with a dog. Parking was easy. Looks like they have a bathroom too. Several covered picnic tables.
Trail conditions & character
“The parking lot can be crowded when school is in session as parents like to drop off kids and pick them up from the park.”
“play area is pretty basic but kids like the hills and paved trails for scooters/bikes/skateboards.”
“Has good restrooms and is well maintained and clean.”

The practical stuff
- AccessDawn to dusk — the gates close, so do not plan a run that finishes after dark

- At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
- Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
