This trail is absolutely stunning and peaceful. It is well marked with trail maps along the way and very well maintained and clean. The big payoff towards the end of the loop was the beautiful lupine field. Another high point - a parking lot and a clean bathroom at the trail head.
Just finished hiking here and it's definitely going to be my go-to spot. Excited to come back to explore more of the trails. Location is great as it's close to the city but super tranquil and quiet. There are also a number of picnic tables.
This is a huge nature preserve of 524 acres. It’s beautiful multiple landscapes in the nature area! There are real restrooms , picnic tables , no grills or playgrounds. Many hiking trails each different In severity of terrain. The parking lot holds maybe 10 cars and 1 handicap spots! Go in spring , truly breathtaking!
Good place to hike at. Open for the public. Easy start going down but end part is an incline going up. You can plan your hike time with the trails in this reserve. You'll feel very close to nature with all the tall green trees and plants. Feel and breathe in the clean, fresh air in this place.
