Confirmed from Eddie D Jones Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Eddie D Jones Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (102 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 7 mentions

“Pavilion and picnic area is very nice with clean restrooms.”

🏞️ beautiful scenery 3 mentions

“What a beautiful opportunity to get away from civilization, with a litany of trails, and some fun exploration available.”

🌾 quiet & peaceful 3 mentions

“Its a peaceful park that I would recommend to anyone.”

Very nice park to ride. Challenging with the abundance of roots. Planners of the park ought to visualize adding table top jumps, steeper drop downs, rock gardens, and more stretches of trail with flow to gain crazy speed to hit jumps, table tops, and BIG BERMS.

This is a really great park. Multiple hiking/biking/ horse back riding trails. They are broke down and marked with colors and correspond on trails. Covered areas for picnic and gatherings. Now I debated mentioning this , but a lady friend of mine thinks she saw something odd on red trail by the dry pond.

Great MTB single track. Not a place for pleasure cyclists on a beach cruiser. Lots of roots and tricky terrain. True mountain biking in NW Louisiana. Lots of fun on a well maintained and well marked trail.

Awesome park! I've visited a couple of times to mountain bike and the trails are fun and have great flow. Trails are managed well and haven't had any issues riding them. Also its a plus to hear the nearby monkeys at the sanctuary making noise as you ride through the woods!

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🌲 Natural surface / singletrack 4 mentions

“Roots and uneven ground just enough to make it fun, with some easier sections.”
