Beautiful hike that runs along a hill and then zig zags down to an overlook a short distance from the lake. Short, maybe 1 mile each way. First part of the trail is wide, easy, and fairly flat, leading to an overlook of the lake.
Overall we enjoyed it. Very nice view of pine flat lake. Also important to put tick spray. There are two trees that you have to climb on top and other one to go under to keep going through one of the trails. We are looking forward to go next spring when the grass is green and full of wildflowers.
Great n Easy short hike less than 1 mile down to the lake. Lots of flowers. No fishes caught though. Lots of great views too.
Good short trail down to the lake. Relatively easy hike, about 2.5-3 miles. Can get hot if hiking in full heat of summer so bring some water. Keep an eye out for the bench at the end of the trail. That's your destination.

“I highly recommend to wear hiking boots/shoes, I wore my running shoes and at some spots on the trail it was steep downhill with loose soil so I had to be very careful not to slip.”
