Confirmed from Edward R Walsh Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Green space with a picnic shelter, playground & fishing pond, plus tennis courts & a fitness course.
What runners say about Edward R Walsh Park
“My grandson had football practice here, open grassy areas, nice playground, splash pad, tennis courts, pavilion, paths to walk , very clean and very fun for the littles!”
“There's also a short wooded path that is scenic and winding along the airport that connects in 2 places to the main path.”
This park is so wonderful! Clean and has everything you need to enjoy your day. I walk there with my Siberian. It has a lovely waterpark, beautiful pavilion, tennis and basketball courts and more. The pond is lovely, very clean and well manicured park. Thank you Mentor!
Park is wonderful, clean and it has basketball courts, baseball fields quite a few I think four. It's got a children's play area which is a decent size. Tennis courts, it's got a ballroom for rent and I think a couple other places you can rent that are inside.
Great splash pad! Lots of places for parents to sit and my boys always have so much fun here! The splash pad does cycle every 15 minutes meaning that it turns off for about a minute but it starts up again easily. Very clean too and gated so I dont have to worry about my kids running off.
Nice park if you want to take your dog on a quick walk. Nice pond to fish in and well maintained tennis and basketball courts. Playground and splash pad seem nice too even though I’ve never used them. Only complaint is the geese.
